West HQ has announced that their Sydney Coliseum Theatre has selected Ticketek to be the official ticketing technology and digital marketing partner of the new venue.Opening its doors in December, the 2000 seat multi-mode venue will host world class international and Australian live music, musical theatre, ballet, symphony, contemporary dance and dramatic performances.

Eleven NBA All-Stars named for USA Basketball’s FIBA World Cup selection camp

TEG Live, promoter of the huge USA Basketball games against Australian Boomers at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on 22 & 24 August and against Canada at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on 26 August, welcome the news overnight that the USA team could feature 11 NBA All-Stars when they play in Australia. Earlier this morning, USA Basketball named 20 players to attend their 2019 Men’s National Team Training Camp in Las Vegas (5 – 9 August), from which their 2019 FIBA World Cup roster will be selected. It’s this final roster that will face the NBA-laden Boomers and Canada teams, as all three nations finalise their preparation for the 2019 World Cup in China, held between 31 August 31 – 15 September.

Intel® Extreme Masters Sydney Sets New Record For Australian Esports Viewership

Intel® Extreme Masters (IEM) Sydney, Australia’s biggest esports tournament, is now in the history books, with Team Liquid winning the tournament and taking home the lion’s share of US$250,000 in front of a packed Qudos Bank Arena. This year’s event, held across 3-5 May, surpassed all previous viewership records for an esports tournament held in Australia, with over 20 million viewers tuning in across the duration of the event. Counter-Strike fans across the world watched almost 10 million hours of content over the course of the event, up 16% vs. 2018.

NBA stars named in Boomers squad for USA, Canada games
